Question: Looking for a good recipe and tips for making cinnamon rolls!?
Hi, I'm an Italian who has lived in the U!.S!. in the past as an exchange student!. During my exchanged year I loved cinnamon rolls and now I tried to make them, but they don't turn out as good!.
Maybe someone with experience can help me!.

Cinnamon Bun Coffee Cake

2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups sugar (add in more for a sweeter taste)
1 1/4 cups milk or half-and-half
1-2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 large egg

TOPPING
1/2 cup brown sugar, more if desired
1-2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!.
Prepare a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish, or TWO 8 or 9-inch round cake pans (although the batter will seem like it will fit into only one 8 or 9-inch pan, this flop rises very high and will run over the sides if baked in just one pan)!.
In a bowl mix the 2 cups flour, 1-1/4 cups white sugar, milk, vanilla extract, baking powder, pinch of salt and egg until just combined careful not to overmix!. Pour into prepared baking pan/s!.
Generously spread brown sugar and cinnamon on top!.
Drizzle melted butter over top!.

1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 (3!.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup warm milk
1 egg, room temperature
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups bread flour
1 (!.25 ounce) package active dry yeast

1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3/4 cup chopped pecans

1/2 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons milk


In the pan of your bread machine, combine water, melted butter, vanilla pudding, warm milk, egg, 1 tablespoon sugar, salt, bread flour and yeast!. Set machine to Dough cycle; press Start!.
When Dough cycle has finished, turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll into a 17x10 inch rectangle!. Spread with softened butter!. In a small bowl, stir together brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans!. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over dough!.
Roll up dough, beginning with long side!. Slice into 16 one inch slices and place in 9x13 buttered pan!. Let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes(put something to cover it on top)!. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes!. While rolls bake, stir together cream cheese, softened butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla and milk!. Remove rolls from oven and top with frosting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls

SERVES 12

Ingredients
1 (1/4 ounce) package dry yeast
1 cup warm milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
4 cups flour

FILLING

1 cup packed brown sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/3 cup margarine, softened

ICING

8 tablespoons margarine
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions

1For the rolls, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk in a large bowl!.
2Add sugar, margarine salt, eggs, and flour, mix well!.
3Knead the dough into a large ball, using your hands dusted lightly with flour!.
4Put in a bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place about 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size!.
5Roll the dought out on a lightly floured surface, until it is approx 21 inches long by 16 inches wide!.
6It should be approx 1/4 thick!.
7Preheat oven to 400 degrees!.
8To make filling, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl!.
9Spread the softened margarine over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the surface!.
10Working carefully, from the long edge, roll the dough down to the bottom edge!.
11Cut the dough into 1 3/4 inch slices, and place in a lightly greased baking pan!.
12Bake for 10 minutes or until light golden brown!.
13While the rolls are baking combine the icing ingredients!.
14Beat well with an electric mixer until fluffy!.

you can use boxed bread dough!. make it according to the package!. spread butter all over the dough ball and pat it out until its wide and flat like a rectangle!. spread butter, cinnamon, and sprinkle sugar over it!. roll it into a log and then slice the rolls out!. let them rise a little while and then bake at 350!. you can drizzle with melted butter,mixed w/cinnamon and brown sugar or you can heat store bought vanilla cake frosting in the microwave and drizzle over them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Get a good sweet dough yeast bread recipe!. Roll dough into a rectangle!. Spread with butter, then brown sugar, then sprinkle lots of cinnamon on top!. Roll up, slice and bake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
