Dried Chipotle Pepper Steak Marinade Ideas (for Burritos)?!
Hi there! I am making burritos for dinner tonight!. I have all the regular goods, but I want to do something special with the steak!. I have steak strips all ready to go and I recently bought some whole dried chipotle peppers (labeled very hot!)!. Any ideas of how I should marinade the steak incorporating some dried pepper crumbles!.!.!. and how much should I use!?
I don't want to have to go out to the store to get crazy other things for the marinade!.!.!. I wanna use things I have here
(I have a variety of oils/vinegars/broths and a boatload of tomato paste that I can't seem to find a use for!.!.!. I have salsa, and lots of random condiments)
Other things that will go in the burritos for flavor matching
Rice
Cheese
Lettuce
Tomato
Onion
Guacamole
Lime/Radish/Sour Cream on the Side!.
Thanks so much!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dried chiplotles would be great, but to marinade with them for burritos, you would probably want to wet marinade, overnight, so the peppers rehydrate and release their smokey goodness into the meat!.
i would say do a basic garlic/worchester/oil/ and probably a little lime to marinade in with the dried chipotle ground, or at least finely chopped!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
