Question: How do you turn a steak into cube steak!? I have found some cubers, but they are very expensive!?
Answers:
The old way is to use a meat mallet or similar tool and pound the snot out of it!. It's a good way to get rid of tension in your personal life!.

You can also ask the butcher to cube it for you when you purchase it!. They have a machine that does this quite quickly!.

You decide which would be better for you: a tension release or having someone else do it on a machine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If I desired cube steak and didn't have a customized tenderizing tool, I would use a very sharp fork and poke hundreds of holes in round steak and I also would take a frying pan and pound the meat until I could tell that it had lost its shape and then fork it again!. the meat packer has a needle machine that presses needle like prongs into the meat, this causes the steak to have that holey appearance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

very good question!? I've never thought about it, but I love cube steak!. When I cook it I flour it then dip it in mixed up egg and milk then coat it with seasoned flour and fry it in peanut oil in a cast iron skillet!.!.!.!.!.Yum country fried steak!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it's a cheap cut of meat, cook it low and slow, like Beef Burgundy or Swiss Steak!.

No meat mallet!? Use a crinkle cutter to tenderize the meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need to smoke it on a grill , and it wil;l come out cubed , it takes a while but it tastes really good , i don't really like steak anymore but you will once you taste cubed steak!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You pound it down with a meat mallet!. Not the flat side, the other pointy side!.

Place in between saran wrap, (rather wax paper) or a baggieWww@FoodAQ@Com

if you dont have a meat mallet u can use the edge of a plate and as stated above put a piece of plastic under and over it while poundingWww@FoodAQ@Com

Your butcher shop will run your steak through the tenderizer
Just ask
May cost more!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
