Question: I'm starting to bake a lot and!?
I just started with fondant and it taste tooooo sweet!. why do they make so many fondant cakes if its taste bad!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fondant is used by professional pastry chefs and bakeries, because it's easiest to get a very smooth finish and do elaborate decorations (which will last a few days) !.!.!.!. It's not known for it's flavor:) !.!.!.!. Personally, I don't like buttercream either, and think the best frostings are whipped cream frostings or REAL fudge frostings!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the fondant is very smooth and an easy surface to work on!. Icing will get everywhere and clump up but with fondant you can put all kinds of decorations on them thats why fondant is used on wedding cakes because people liek all those flowers and designs on thier cakesWww@FoodAQ@Com

all fondants are different!.
some are sweeter than the others!.
it also depends on how much of it you eat, and how thin you roll it out!. also on what type of cake you put it on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The fondant is usually served on or with something else!. Chocolate with more cocoa and less sugar is great with fondant, as are peanuts or pretzels!. Find a combo that works for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
