Is there anyone who considers themself a 'good cook' -uses what i've always reffered to as 'that pickled garlic crap'!? You know that pre-minced garlic in a jar, instead of using fresh garlic!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

i wouldnt say im a great cook but ive been told i can cook, i dont use jared ingredients i love and only use fresh stuff, cos jared ingredients have too much vinegar and preservatives in it!.!.!. love using fresh lemon, garlic, ginger, corriander and chillies too!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I used to use pre-minced garlic but I found that they tend to not be so fresh after the bottle has been opened for more than a week or so!. And consuming it within 3 days is quite difficult! Now I use freshly chopped / pounded garlic as this brings out the flavour more!.

I am a very good cook and I would never, ever use anything but fresh garlic!. It doesn't taste the same as fresh garlic, it's too bitter and will ruin the recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
