OK here's my question....how do you get an egg omelet to turn over in it's pan?!
I get all the other directions about beating the egg and putting it in a non stick pan and all the rest but I just can't seem to get it to flip over on it's self!. Any hints from anyone!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Jerking the pan toward you should cause the omelet to roll over upon itself as it hits the side of the pan!. Continue doing this for few seconds until the omelet is folded into a pleasing form!. The omelet should be tender and moist!. A dry omelet indicates that it has been cooked too long!. Tilt the omelet from the pan onto a plate and it is ready to serve!. The actual cooking time is usually no more than 30 to 45 seconds!.

To flip an omelette in a non-stick pan:
- Move pan in a circular motion -- if omelette glides freely around the pan, it's ready to flip
- Tilt pan forward
- Snap pan quickly upward and forward, while tilting backward so that it is parallel with the stove once again!.
- Move pan downward to catch omelette!.
The omelette shouldn't be flying high in the air!.!.!. only an inch or so, maximum!. It's definitely difficult to explain!. Practice with a piece of bread in a well greased pan beforehand -- same mechanics, but much less of a mess!. Once you're a pro, move on to eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not being a Chef, myself!.!.!. I use a spatula to flip over two sides so that it is folded in thirds!.!.!. it cooks up nice and you can flip the whole thing again, if needed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
