Question: How do I tell if my beef is done!?
Hey there, so I made a stew today, I had to put the beef chunks in the broth, it is cooking for three and a half hours!. Do you think ti'll be done by this time!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Need more info, to really give an accurate answer!. Such as the size of the beef cubes and the temp of the broth!. If they are bite size and the water is near or boiling then they should be done provided they weren't frozen solid when you started!. Next time seer the meat cubes on all six sides first!. It will keep the flavor in!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should be done, But if you are worried take out one piece of the meat and see if it is red!. If there is no red, then it is done!.

If smaller to med cuts they are done!. To be sure cut one in half and let cool and taste for tenderness!. If pieces large cut smaller!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes!. i usually cook for 2-2 1/2 hours and the meat falls apart!
