Question: Other than keeping food warm, what else can you use the 'Keep warm' function on your oven with!?
I keep food warm with this function but what else can I use it for!? The temperture varies from 35 deg to 80 deg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My Mum says that her Mum used to always put their towels in the over so they had warm towels when they got out of the shower! (I guess people wouldn't do that now days due to clothes driers and heated towel racks!)

My Mum always puts her plates in the oven too - like the others have mentioned!.

We also dry tin pans and such in the oven so they don't rust after being washed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1!. if it's near body temp, you can use it to proof bread, pizza, or pretzel dough!. I'm assuming your 35-80o is Celcius!.!.!.!.I can't remember what that is in oF, sorry!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Besides keeping foods warm, you can use it to warm plates or bowls, rising yeast doughs or drying fresh herbs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
