How long is an uncut avocado good for?!

Question: How long is an uncut avocado good for!?
We bought two avocados about 3 weeks ago (give or take a week) and only used one!. It's been sitting in the fridge since, and I wanted to use it with dinner tonight!. It's uncut, so I'm wondering if it will still be good, or should I get a new one!? ThanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on how ripe it was when you purchased it but it probably is bad (or mostly bad) by now however you may be able to salvage a few usable pieces!. Feel it and if it's soft, it's bad if it's firm it's fine!. Though if by some lucky chance it is still good it won't be for much longer, avocados are not known for their shelf life!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut it open before you go to the market - if it's good, drip some lemonjuice on the cut surfaces, and it'll be fine for dinner!.
If it's gone bad, you can buy a new one :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

it should be fine - just cut it open and see - if it is brown and squishy all the way thru then i wouldn't eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
