Does anyone have a recipe for a salad dressing that contains garlic and yeast?!
There is a restaurant just outside of the town I live in and they have the best salad dressing in the world!. But, it's almost an hour away and the dressing is $8 a bottle!. I want to make a copy cat version at home and save some time and money!. I know the dressing has garlic and yeast, but that's all I know!. I can't figure out what the base is!. It's not really creamy, or tangy like vinegar or citrus!. It's really not oily either!. It's sort of thick, and yellowish in color!. It really is outstanding, just hard to figure out!. If anyone has any suggestions, please share them!Www@FoodAQ@Com

How do you know it has yeast in it!? That is an odd ingredient in salad dressing!. Yeast is generally a sign of spoilage if your not making wine or bread!
Perhaps the yeast flavor was some kind of wine!? You give no indication of location!. This may be some local specialty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
