Where can I buy jars to use for making pickles (gherkins) in the southeast of England?!

Question: Where can I buy jars to use for making pickles (gherkins) in the southeast of England!?
I've done a web search with no real joy!. I tried lakeland and amazon but they don't have any!. I have seen on some websites jars that have regular lids but I think for the type of pickles I am making I need the snap lid kind!.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Visit your local supermarkets or delicatessan's!.
If you can buy pickles by the weight, odds are, they originally came in jars!.
Most places like to get rid of their empty jars, I have done it here in NZ, and used the original screw top lids with success!.
The other place is your local recycling place or dump!.
Sounds gross but by sterilizing them, they will be as good as new!.

you know most grocery stores carry canning supplies
if not most hardware stores also
you never leave without asking
that jar with the bail may be in a different section like candles supplies or gift giving supplies
I seen them with soap inside!.
