It is a tough steak!. I have one of those spring loaded multiple knife deals I use on tough cuts, it works quite well!. The basic chuck steaks you see more often now are better than the chuck tenders!. Chuck tenders are more for making things like chicken fried steak, swiss steak, and the like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I use that cut to make shish kebobs!. Marinate the meat for 3-4 hours with some acid as part of the marinade (like lime juice or lemon juice)!. If you grill as a shish-kebob, it will be somewhat more tender because more surface is exposed to the marinade!.
Either way (steak or kebobs), grill on high heat and remove when medium (no more than medium)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut it into strips!. Then low and slow on the BBQ for about 10 minutes per side!. Add some BBQ sauce too while it cooks!.
Sort of like boneless short ribs when complete!. Each person should cut them thin across grain as they eat them, as they will be tougher than some meats but very tasty if cut in this manner!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

get some meat tenderizer or some cola and let it sit for a few hours (preferably over-night) i personally wouldn't poke holes in it but you might have to use a mallet-type meat tenderizer!. that's just what i think!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i marinate and then continue to pour the sauce over through out the bbq!. i use dale's sauce for my marinadeWww@FoodAQ@Com
