Question: What is the best tasting scallop recipe for a first time scallop eater!?
I went scalloping the other day and I have a pound of small scallops to cook up!.!.!.!.!.!.!.need some ideas on how to cook them since I have never had them before!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Baked Scallops

INGREDIENTS:
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 pounds scallops,
rinsed and drained
1/2 cup seasoned dry bread
crumbs
1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
cheese

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)!.
2!. Pour melted butter into a 2 quart oval casserole dish!. Distribute butter and scallops evenly inside the dish!.
3!. Combine the bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, minced garlic and Parmesan cheese!. Sprinkle this mixture over the scallops!.
4!. Bake in pre-heated oven until scallops are firm, about 20 minutes!.


Broiled Scallops

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 pounds bay scallops
1 tablespoon garlic salt 2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Turn broiler on!.
2!. Rinse scallop and place in a shallow baking pan!. Sprinkle with garlic salt, melted butter or margarine and lemon juice!.
3!. Broil 6 to 8 minutes or until scallops start to turn golden!. Remove from oven and serve with extra melted butter or margarine on the side for dipping!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

mmmm make up some good roux with some butter and flour and salt and pepper!. make it thick and then add some milk and some of your favorite cheeses!. But the potatoes and some onions in the roux, sliced but raw!. Make sure the potatoes are pretty much covered with the sauce!. Then heat the oven to!.!.!.say!.!.!.375 and then I'd say let it cook for an hour but it depends on how many you make!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

wrap a piece of bacon around the scallop hold with a toothpick, wipe a bit of butter and salt and pepper on top and bottom and grill until bacon is crispy! Its so yummy! Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would cook them very quickly, DO NOT over cook them, or they get rubbery!. Start small with some olive oil and garlic!.!.They are very good!. Bon Apetite!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
