Baked Pork Chops
INGREDIENTS:
6 pork chops
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
2 egg, beaten
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups Italian-style seasoned bread crumbs
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 (10!.75 ounce) can
condensed cream of
mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup white wine
DIRECTIONS:
1!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
2!. Rinse pork chops, pat dry, and season with garlic powder and seasoning salt to taste!. Place the beaten eggs in a small bowl!. Dredge the pork chops lightly in flour, dip in the egg, and coat liberally with bread crumbs!.
3!. Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat!. Fry the pork chops 5 minutes per side, or until the breading appears well browned!. Transfer the chops to a 9x13 inch baking dish, and cover with foil!.
4!. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour!. While baking, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk and white wine in a medium bowl!. After the pork chops have baked for an hour, cover them with the soup mixture!. Replace foil, and bake for another 30 minutes!.
Sour Cream Pork Chops
INGREDIENTS:
6 pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 large onion, sliced 1/4 inch
thick 2 cubes chicken bouillon
2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 (8 ounce) container sour
cream
DIRECTIONS:
1!. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and then dredge in 1/2 cup flour!. In a skillet over medium heat, lightly brown chops in a small amount of oil!.
2!. Place chops in slow cooker, and top with onion slices!. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and pour over chops!. Cover, and cook on Low 7 to 8 hours!.
3!. Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C)!.
4!. After the chops have cooked, transfer chops to the oven to keep warm!. Be careful, the chops are so tender they will fall apart!. In a small bowl, blend 2 tablespoons flour with the sour cream; mix into meat juices!. Turn slow cooker to High for 15 to 30 minutes, or until sauce is slightly thickened!. Serve sauce over pork chops!.

DIRECTIONS:

If they're very thick pork chops, I like to cut a pocket in the sides!. I make Stovetop stuffing mix and put it inside the pockets!. Then put some Lawry's marinade (I like Baja Chipolte best, or Mesquire or Hickory) in a pan; put the chops on top and pour more marinade over the top!. Cover with foil and bake at 375 about 45 min; uncover and bake another 15 min!. or so !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.You can also stuff them with chopped frozen spinach & feta cheese and put Greek Salad Dressing on them!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
My favorite is to brown them in a skillet but not so they are cooked all the way!. Remove them once browned and add a onion sliced, green pepper sliced and a clove or two of garlic to the skillet!. Saute in oil from chops and return chops to skillet!. Add a can of chopped tomatoes and a small can of tomatoe sauce!. Cover and simmer till chops are tender (1 - 1 1/2 hr!.) You may have to add water a little as needed so sauce does not burn!.
