You can make dried fruit at home, the method depend on the fruit you have, high fiber fruit you can press them or slice thinly and air dry or sun dry, other fruit such as not so ripe papaya, you have to soak them in heavy syrup and dry them after 3 to 5 days in hot sun!. We used to put sliced apples or peaches on window screens laid flat on the roof of the carport in the sun to dry them!. You can also dry them in a very, very slow oven or pick up a food dehydrator!. I just saw 2 of them still in their boxes sell at an auction last weekend for $5 each!. They seem to turn up in garage sales a lot, too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Leave fruit out and let it dry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
