If you are going to be cooking it anyway, just break it up with your fingers!. It will thaw and cook just fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, best to thaw in the fridge!.

All is not lost, you can microwave it on the DEFROST setting for a few seconds!. About 15 seconds for a pound of mozzarella cheese!. Then, cut it or shred it and put it in your lasagna!.

You can go ahead and use the frozen mozzarella, it won't matter at all!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use it frozen as is - my shredded that is, I've never frozen whole slices or chunks of cheese - Just throw it in the lasagna & bake it - should be perfect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You might be able to put in in the microwave on defrost for about 4 minutes!.!.!.!.!.that should get it loose enough to break pieces off if its a big cube!.
If its shredded then just toss in in, it'll melt as it cooksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Leave out till defrosted!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
