How to make a mixed fruit sauce for mahi mahi?!


Question: How to make a mixed fruit sauce for mahi mahi!?
Im making mahi mahi, and it suggests to serve a fruit sauce over it!. I have frozen mixed berries (blue, rasp, and black) how do I make a sauce!? I dont have any 'alcohol' such as wine, sherry, etc!.!.!.!.but do have many other ingredients!. thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You don't need any alcohol for a fruit sauce!. I'd just put some of the frozen berries into a saucepan and start cooking it over medium heat!. They're probably already sweetened and will release moisture from being frozen!. If it seems too thin, you can add in a little cornstarch to thicken it, but then you must bring it up to a boil to "cook" the cornstarch and make the syrup clear again!. So add the cornstarch to a little water and stir together before adding to the heated berries!. It will thicken more as it cools down!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
