Anybody know any awesome cake recipes?!
I'm not talking about fancy cakes, I'm talking about a plain yellow or chocolate cake recipe that I can make for a homemade birthday cake!. I've been using the same yellow buttermilk sheet cake recipe for years and I think I need an update!
Maybe with something special like buttermilk, mayonnaise, applesauce, etc!. that makes it super moist!?
Oh and could it please be a recipe you've tried yourself, or you have links to a lot of people saying they liked! Not just a random recipe you got off the Internet in order to post on this question and earn two points! I know how to use Google too!
Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

for a very moist cake, try using a cup of fresh pureed beets added to a boxed chocolate cake mix!. or, try a cup of canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix) to a box of yellow cake mix!. the taste of the vegetables is undetectable, the cakes are super moist, and they are a great way to sneak in extra veggies to your food!. i tried them both and my family loved them and never knew the veggies were in them!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Pig Pickin cake is a great super moist and easy to make cake!. You can find the recipe and reviews at allrecipes!.comWww@FoodAQ@Com
