Question: Is curry healthy!?
I get the different curry sauce thingies at trader joes and put it on my grilled chicken and its yummy but is it healthy or badWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It's not the curry that's good or bad for you, but what's in the rest of the sauce!. Please read the nutritional information label!. If it has more than 15% or maybe 20% of any of the things you need to consume in moderation (salt, fats, cholesterol, calories, etc) use the sauce very sparingly!. Be sure you double-check to see what they call "one serving!."Www@FoodAQ@Com

The spices themselves actually do have some medicinal values, which is great since they taste good too!.

But, be wary of the premade, processed curry sauces!. They could hide lots of fats and sugars, not to mention have lesser quality herbs, which means fewer nutrients available!.
So yes, curry powder itself is healthy!.
But look on the nutritional facts of your sauce, and check out the fat and sugar content!. I'm not sure about the brand, so it could be alright!. also, when comparing the contents, look at the serving size!. 4 grams of fat might not sound too bad, but when the serving size is 2 teaspoons, think of how many servings you're consuming in one meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
