Question: Dinner Ideas!? Please read before answering :)!?
I need dinner ideas for my family!. I am not looking for healthy or fancy or time consuming!. I'm talking about you get home, walk in the door and cook something in a flash!. We are not incredibly big on veggies and don't eat that much pasta!. No salad ideas please!. Just something I can make kind of fast with no fuss!. Tater Tot Casserole

INGREDIENTS:
1 (32 ounce) package frozen
potato rounds
1 (16 ounce) container sour
cream
1 cup shredded Cheddar
cheese 1 (10!.75 ounce) can
condensed cream of
mushroom soup
1 (6 ounce) can French-fried
onions

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish!.
2!. Arrange tater tots in the prepared baking dish!.
3!. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, cheese, and mushroom soup!. Pour this mixture over the tater tots!. Sprinkle onions over the top of the casserole!.
4!. Bake in the 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven for 45 to 60 minutes


Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

INGREDIENTS:
6 skinless, boneless chicken
breast halves, cut into bite size
pieces
2 cups milk
2 cups uncooked white rice 2 (10!.75 ounce) cans
condensed cream of chicken
soup
1 teaspoon seasoned salt

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
2!. In a medium bowl combine the milk, rice, soup and seasoned salt if desired!. Mix well!. Pour mixture into a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish!. Add the chicken pieces!.
3!. Cover dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 90 minutes or until rice is done, stirring every 30 minutes!. Uncover the dish and bake for another 15 minutes to allow the rice to brown!.

Pizza Casserole

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups uncooked egg noodles
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped 1 cup sliced pepperoni
sausage
16 ounces pizza sauce
4 tablespoons milk
1 cup shredded mozzarella
cheese

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
2!. Cook noodles according to package directions!.
3!. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic and green bell pepper!. Drain excess fat!. Stir in the noodles, pepperoni, pizza sauce and milk, and mix well!. Pour this mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish!.
4!. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes, top with the cheese, then bake for 5 to 10 more minutes!.

Shepherd's Pie

INGREDIENTS:
5 potatoes, peeled and
quartered
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (4 ounce) can sliced
mushrooms
1 (15 ounce) can mixed
vegetables
1 (10!.75 ounce) can condensed cream of
mushroom soup
1 (10!.75 ounce) can
condensed cream of celery
soup
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons butter

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!. Coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray!.
2!. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil!. Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender, about 15 minutes!. Drain, reserving some of the cooking liquid!. Mash potatoes with a little of the cooking liquid!. Set aside!.
3!. In a large skillet, cook ground beef until brown over medium-high heat!. Drain fat from pan!. Stir in mushrooms, mixed vegetables, mushroom soup, celery soup, and salt and pepper; heat through!. Pour into prepared baking dish, cover with mashed potatoes, and dot with butter!.
4!. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are golden and beef and vegetable mixture is hot and bubbly!.


Meat Loaf Pie

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 egg
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
sauce 1 (8!.75 ounce) can whole
kernel corn
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
2 cups prepared mashed
potatoes
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar
cheese

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
2!. In a skillet over medium heat, cook and stir the ground beef and onion until beef is evenly brown!. Drain, and allow to cool slightly!.
3!. In a bowl, mix the cooked beef and onion, egg, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce!.
4!. Spread the corn in the bottom of the pie crust!. Layer with the beef mixture!. Spoon the mashed potatoes over the beef, and top with cheese!.
5!. Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned!.


Baked Macaroni and Cheese

INGREDIENTS:
2 slices bacon
8 ounces penne pasta
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!.
2!. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet!. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown!. Drain, crumble and set aside!.
3!. In a large pot with boiling salted water cook pasta until al dente!. Drain!.
4!. In a medium skillet saute the chopped onion, and minced garlic!. Take off heat and add chopped cooked bacon and set aside!.
5!. To make the sauce, in a medium saucepan melt the butter or margarine over low heat!. Once melted, add the flour and stir constantly for 2 minutes!. Gradually add milk and continue stirring until thickened!. Stir in 2 cups of the grated Cheddar cheese and stir until melted!.
6!. Combine cooked pasta, sauteed vegetables and sauce!. Pour into a 2 quart casserole dish!. Add the last cup of grated Cheddar cheese to top of mixture!.
7!. Bake uncovered in preheated oven until cheese on top is melted and brown, 15 to 20 minutes!. Serve warm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Turkey Panini's

Wheat Bread
Turkey
Mozzarella Cheese
Tomato
Pesto sauce (available in the produce department or Italian section)
Garlic (fresh or chopped in a jar)
Italian Seasoning
Olive oil


Put the turkey, cheese and sliced tomato on one piece of bread

Spread pesto and garlic on another piece of bread!. Sprinkle on Italian seasoning!.

Lighly brush olive oil on both sides of bread and put together!. (Or use spray olive oil for a healthier option)

For best results, I grill the sandwich on a George Forman or grilling machine!.

If you don't have one, cook in a pan, flipping a few times until the cheese melts and the bread is golden brown!.

How about pizza!? You can buy pizza shell at the grocery and get some cheeses and meat, sausage, pepperoni, etc!. You can create your own toppings that you like!. And you can also buy a package of chicken wings, a container of coleslaw at the grocery store too!. Fast and easy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like those crock pot kits you buy in the freezer section but you need to put them on before you leave for work!.!.!.!.!.!.

I make Unstuffed green peppers it's easy too!. Here is the recipe!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
Brown hamburger and drain
Make rice
saute green peppers with a little olive oil
take the brown hamburger and put BBQ sauce and a little ketchup in it!. add the sauteed peppers let simmer on low heat for 10 mins!.

Not sure how old your kids are, but there are lots of kid foods that are quick and easy!. Spaghetti is the fastest and easiest, but if you want to try something new how about tator tot casserole!. We love it!.

Brown hamburger meat while a layer of tator tots are in the oven layered!. Then mix cream of mushroom soup in the meat and layer on top of tots and top with shredded cheese!. Then top off with another layer of tots and cheese!.!.!.!.!.yummy!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

A pound of cooked hamburger mixed with 3 peeled and sliced potatoes and a can of green beans stir in a can of cream of mushroom soup and bake til potatoes are tender!.!. Very cheap, very easy and not heavy on the veggies!. Yet still good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

buy lots of jarred sauces like tomato and alfreado clam sauce then just heat up and add to cooked pasta!.
fry a bunch of chicken cutlets on the weekend and use different ways through out the week!.
