Get a popcorn kettle that is specifically made for over the campfire!. Its the easiest and safest way!. You can find them at sporting goods stores!. Then just add the correct amount of popcorn kernals for the size of your kettle and a little oil and then salt it when its all done!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Get yourself an old fashioned popcorn popper!. It has a basket thing on one end you put your corn in and a long handle so you are away from the fire!. And shake it a lot as it pops or it will burn!. Campfire popcorn is the best!. And even better smothered in real butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do the cast iron popper from the sporting goods store!. I have tried the "jiffy pop" thing over an open fire and it doesn't work so well (unless you like burnt popcorn)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Do they still make those Jiffy Pop metal popcorn thingies!? With the popcorn inside, and the handle outside!? If you used an oven mitt (because the handle will get hot), you could use thatWww@FoodAQ@Com
