What are some inexpensive ways to "bulk up" a fruit salad?!

Question: What are some inexpensive ways to "bulk up" a fruit salad!?
I'm making a fruit salad for about 16 adults tomorrow to go along with their sandwiches, chips, and cookies for lunch!. So far I have some, but not a ton of peaches, plums, grapes, pineapple and blueberries, and I plan to do a mango nectar dressing!. I'm looking for some suggestions of inexpensive but plentiful summery fruit to add to the mix!. Flavor balance and amount of time required to cut-up are both considerations!. I'm not great with my palate, but what do you all think of cantaloupe with what I already have!? I'd rather not deal with watermelon!. Any suggestions/tips are appreciated! Thanks for your assistance!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd use melons, Cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon!. Very easy to cut up, slice the ends off, stand it up!. Cut off the rind with your knife following the curve of the melon!. It doesn't take very long at all!. one good size watermelon would be enough!. 2 each of honeydew and cantaloupe also!. I've also added apples for a bit of crunch, just make sure they have lemon juice so the apple chunks do not go brown!. Watch your blueberries, it can turn the whole fruit salad blue, best to add them in last minute!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd slice up bananas when its ready to serve!. also coconut and marshmallows would work well with the pineapple!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you live in the Southern California area, Ralphs has cantaloupes on sale for $1!.00 each!.!.!.!.
