Fun and Creative Lunches?!
Hey!. I watch three boys over the summer!. And I was wondering some fun and creative lunches that we could make!. I don't want the regular ham and cheese sandwich!. I would like something creative, fun and simply!.

I'm not sure what age the boys are, but if they're younger, these are great snack ideas!.
Tacos are always fun to do also, just set aside bowls of cheese, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, avocado slices, salsa, meat, and taco chips for them to make their own tacos!.
Ants on Log--Make a yummy snack that looks like ants sitting on a log!.
Celery Stick

A very simple snack idea! Fill the center of the celery stick with peanut butter!. Place a few raisins on top to be your ants!. Eat and enjoy!
If you do not like raisins, try tiny chocolate chips!

Cut apples into wedges!. Smear peanut butter on one side of 2 wedges!. Stick a few marshmallows on the peanut butter on one of the apple wedges and top with the other apple wedge - peanut butter side down!. When you look at this it looks like a smile (the red part of the apple are the lips and the marshmallows are the teeth!)

Wave your magic wand and this delicious and fluffy treat will separate all by itself! Add strawberries to make this dessert taste berry berry good!
STIR 11/2 cups boiling water into 1 pkg!. (4-serving size) JELL-O Gelatin (any flavor) in a large bowl until completely dissolved!. Add 2/3 tub of unthawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, stir with whisk until melted and mixture is well blended!. Stir in 1 cup chopped strawberries!.
POUR mixture evenly into 5 dessert dishes!.
REFRIGERATE 2 hr!. or until set!. Top with remaining whipped topping before serving!. Makes 5 servings!.
Astronaut Pudding
1/8 cup any flavor instant pudding mix
1/4 cup milk (not low fat)
Put both ingredients into a zip-type bag!. Close the bag securely!. Gently knead mixture until pudding forms!. Snip off one of the corners and squeeze the pudding into your mouth!.
Aquarium Gelatin
1 small box blue or green gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
24 gummy fish
1 cup whipped cream
Fish crackers (optional)
Make gelatin according to package directions!. When it's slightly cooled, divide it among six plastic cups!.
When gelatin is partially set, add three or more gummy fish to each cup!. Place cups in refrigerator for 2 hours, or until gelatin is firm!.
At serving time, top with whipped cream to form "surf!." Serve with fish crackers, if desired!.

Use an 8"x8" dish!. Dip cookies one at a time in milk!. Layer on bottom of dish!. Add thin layer of Cool Whip, continue layering until all but 4 cookies are used!. Have Cool Whip on top layer and crush the last 4 cookies on top of that!. Leave in refrigerator 1 hour or more before serving!. Serves at least 4, unless the 5 year old gets to it first!

Put vanilla frosting between cinnoman graham crackers
Put chocolate frosting between 2 reg!. graham crackers

1 can biscuits
Pizza sauce
Pepperoni
Any kind shredded cheese
Open can for kids!. Let them flatten the biscuits with the palms of their hands and place 1-2 inches apart on a cookie sheet!. Place a teaspoon of sauce in the centers of the dough!. Top with 1 pepperoni per pizza and top with cheese!. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes!.

Ingredients:

? pineapple slices,
? watermelon,
? peaches,
? bananas,
? cherries,
? grapes and
? apples
? (or whatever fruit is in season)
Directions:
1!. Cut and wash fruit ahead of time as needed!.
2!. Can buy dowels sticks (at any grocery store) which may need to be soaked in water a few minutes before
use!.
3!. Arrange the fruit on the table in different plates and let the children choose some fruit to place on a
dowel stick for their fruit kabobs!. They may require help, depending on the age group!.
4!. Eat and enjoy!.
QUICK PIZZA STICKS
Yield: 24 Sticks
1 cn Ready pizza crust
1 tb Margarine or butter; melted
1/2 c Provolone cheese; shredded
1 tb Grated Romano cheese
1 ts Dried basil leaves
1/4 ts Garlic powder
1/4 ts Cayenne pepper
Heat oven to 425~!. Lightly grease large cookie sheet!. Remove dough
from can; unroll onto greased cookie sheet, forming 12x9" rectangle!.
Brush dough with margarine!. In small bowl, combine provolone and
romano, basil, garlic powder and ground red pepper; mix well!.
Sprinkle evenly over dough!. With pizza cutter or knife, cut dough
crosswise into 12, 1" wide strips!. Cut rectangle in half lengthwise,
forming 24 strips!. Do not separate!. Bake for 10-13 minutes or until
golden brown!. To separate, recut along perforations!. Serve
immediately!. If desired, serve with warm pizza sauce

Freeze a whole banana and then serve with a spoon! It tastes like banana ice cream!
Serve frozen peas or other vegetables right out of the freezer as finger food, - they're sweet!.
Puzzle sandwiches: Cut a sandwich into odd shapes that fit together like a puzzle!.
Serve crepes with many different fillings!.
Make and use sprinkles: Chop, grind, or mix together 1/3 cup granola, 1/3 cup nuts, and 1/3 cup wheat germ!. Sprinkle on yogurt, fruit, ice cream, cottage cheese!.
Serve shape pancakes: When frying pancakes, pour the batter into numbers, letters, or shapes!. Let your child choose some shapes to have you prepare!.
Try having breakfast foods for dinner, and leftovers from dinner for breakfast!.
