Find recipes that appeal to you and omit the parts he doesnt like for his portions!. You can still enjoy the full taste of the meal you choose and he can have his plain meal too!. It's a pain in the butt trying to satisfy picky eaters especially when what they do eat is not that good tasting to the rest of us!. Good luck on this one!. Been married to one for 28 years!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
His mother spoiled him royally!?!?!? and didn't bother to tell him to eat his veggies!?!?
Yeah well, most of "unhealthy" foods is that we eat too much at one time!. Any food is naturally healthy!. It is even more healthy if eaten in proper proportions!.
3 to 4 ounces cooked any meat, beef, lamb or chicken or whatever else is a serving
1/2 cup cooked veggies or fruit is a serving!.
1 cup raw veggies or fruits is a serving
1 slice of bread is a serving!.
Walking is great exercise!. Get him to go walking with you and hold hands while you are doing it like when you were going together!. Walk for an hour every evening!. You will both get good exercise, fresh air, and can talk together while you are doing it!. You should lose weight!.
Oh, yeah!! My husband was sort of picky years ago when we married, thought green veggie meant green beans and all were cooked to mush anyway!. He has changed his mind and loves my Chef's salad blends!! Anything goes here!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why would you encourage that by catering to him!?
I'm guessing that half the food he "doesn't like" has never even been TRIED by him!.
I would just cook a good variety of meals, and if he truly refuses to eat what you prepare, then point him toward the bread and the jar of peanut butter!.
I can't abide picky eaters, there is no reason NOT to like most food!. Help him to grow as a person by offering a good variety!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try oven roasted chicken with mild, but delightful flavors!. My favorite: marinate chicken breasts in balsamic vinegar, rub on some basil and rosemary (fresh or dried), cover with foil and bake at 375 for about 30 minutes or until the juices run clear!. This should be mild enough for his tastes but flavorful enough for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
How about a recipe where he makes his own meal!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
What is it that he will not eat!? That information would be helpful!Www@FoodAQ@Com
