How can I prepare batter for meat?!

Question: How can I prepare batter for meat!?
Answers:
If it's for chicken I like to dredge (cover) the already seasoned chicken (salt pepper or garlic) in the flour to fully coat!. * Side note: Don't mix seasonings into the flour, because you use so much flour, you have to minx in a lot of seasonings that don't even get to meat sometimes, so its' just wasteful*!. Then I drop the floured chicken into 1 large egg mixed with a splash of milk, make sure it's all coated, then into Italian breadcrumbs!. Lightly shake out the excess!. Let it sit out for a minute to take the chill off before you fry it!.

I like to fry mine until the outside is browned beautifully, then pop them into preheated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes to cook the rest of the way, or until the thickest part reads 160 degrees!.

For Porkchops, instead of using the flour, I use parmesean cheese, then the egg, then the italian breadcrumbs and cooked the same time, except maybe in the over for 10-15 minutes!.!. You don't want themt to dry out!. Serve with fresh lemon!.!. YUM!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not sure what kind of meat you are talking about but you can dip it in milk then in seasoned flour (salt, pepper and any other seasonings you like added to the flour) and let it sit in the fridge for about two hours before you want to fry it!. It sort of forms a coating which I find different than if I dip it and cook it right away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on what meat you are preparing!. Just last night I pan-fried some pork chops!. My favorite coating for them and also for chicken tenders is:

ground cornflakes (grind in food processor til fine)
mix in just enough flour for binding
salt and pepper to taste or even any other seasoning you like

dip the meat in an egg/milk wash
then dredge in the cornflake/flour mixtureWww@FoodAQ@Com
