How do I stop my steaks from purging / releasing their juices when they are resting?!

Question: How do I stop my steaks from purging / releasing their juices when they are resting!?
I made steaks today and when they were finished cooking i took them straight from the pan to a plate and covered it with tin-foil!. When I went to serve them they had purged all their juices out!. What do I do to prevent that so I can keep all their heavenly juices inside!? Haha!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Sear each side for 2-3 mins til carmel brown this will help stop the purging of the juices when they rest!. And use a slotted spatula like the grill kits have, or Tongs!. Just a reminder I know you know better!.

And to the Culinary student, study harder you answered the question wrong!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Did you poke them with a fork while you were cooking them or turning them over!? If so, that is why!. also, it is normal for some juice to escape from the surface of the meat!. The inside should still be juicy though once it is rested!. also, when you cover them with foil, don't cover them tightly because this will cause them to steam!. Just tent lightly !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

IT IS VERY SIMPLE:
WHEN YOU ARE READY TO COOK YOUR STEAK OR ANY MEAT THAT YOU WANT TO KEEP JUICY INSIDE!.
JUST SEAL THEM!.
HAVE A VERY VERY HOT PAN AND THROW YOUR STEAK, MEAT ON ABOUT A MINUTE TILL GOLDEN BROWN ON BOTH SIDES AND COOK AT THE TEMPERATURE YOU WANT WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO COOK THEM!.
REMEMBER YOUR PAN OR YOUR GRILL HAS TO BE VERY HOT!.
YOU CAN SEAL THEM AND PUT AWAY IN THE FRIDGE TILL YOU NEED THEM, JUST REMEMBER COVERED!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is normal for some of the juices to release!. Are you sure all the juices!? If you did not pierce them and cooked them to medium, I am guessing they will be fine!. Make sure that the meat rest for at least 30 minutes at room temperature before cooking that will help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do not pierce the steak before or during cooking!. also if you are using a whole beef cut, it will need to marinade for longer time than you would for chicken!.(tougher muscle)
Allow steak to rest at least three(3) minutes after finished cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

BON JOUR
the best thing to do is sear them as fast as you can, this will retain as much juice as possable, expect to lose some juice!.!.also don,t cover them with anything as this locks in steam and will continue to cook your meat!.!.
good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com
