Answers:
ooh yes this is a good 1 ive made banana chips in the dehydrater
at 140* overnight
having it higher then 140 kills all the good nutrients
if u dont have a dehydrater(which are vry useful)
u do it in the over u have to:

preheat oven 140 farenheight
it can take from 8-24 hrs depending on size of fruit and which fruit ur using!.!.!.!.rotating/switching cookie sheets every hr or so

1!. Light-colored fruits such as apples, apricots, bananas and peaches need to be dipped in lemon juice before they are dried in your oven!. The acidic juice helps these fruits from turning dark brown!.

2!. No matter how you cut the larger fruit up- into quarter-inch slices or rings- or if you cut the smaller fruit in half- make sure the pieces are uniform in size!. This way, they'll all dry in the same amount of time!.

3!. If you prefer to dry small fruits like cherries or grapes whole, you'll need to vent the skins!. To do this, you'll need to make a small slice in the ends with a sharp paring knife to allow the steam to escape!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can buy a food dehydrator fairly inexpensively (try Walmart)!.!.!.!. Pineapple is really easy to do!.!.!.!. If you like beef jerky, you'll soon pay for the cost of the dehydrator by making your own! Get London Broil on sale and make wonderful jerky!Www@FoodAQ@Com

bottom line==Get a food dehydrator=Www@FoodAQ@Com
