Where to start!.!.!.!. first it sounds like your man likes a tomato base!. First start with pasta done aldente!. Then you really can not go wrong with a sauce!. Try taking some pork, chicken, italian sausage, etc in the sauce!. Start with a decent sauce and add to it the veggies and meat you want!. a few pinches of sugar, garlic, and italian spice are the trick!. I put the veggies in raw and let simmer, if you have a slow cooker this is the place to use it but make sure to add a little water!. I also like the jared alfredo, I add mushrooms and about 4 shakes of black pepper and some garlic!.!. peas and ham just add to it if you like!.

A long time fav!.!.!.!. VERY QUICK any pasta with olive oil, a bit of butter, garlic powder or salt, and parm!. Make sure you have enough sauce for a side of bread to scoop it up with!.!.!.!. very good and you can add anything you like to it!.

I have tons of rcps, some you may want to look up are lassana, stuffed shells, and other ones on

my ex was Italian so I learnt to cook pasta as he liked eating it!. It's very simple just using what you have and leaving out things you haven't or don't like!. Brown onions the more the better chop up cloves of garlic and add then fry the mince with this mix chopped up Italian sausage helps heaps with a good flavour!. Add tin of tomatoes and good dollop or two of tomato paste and some grated carrot for good health and simmer gently for 1/2 hour or more!. You can also add some soup stock for flavour!. While this is simmering cook you pasta in lots of salted boiling water about 10 minutes check the taste it should not be too soft but cooked!. Put pasta in warmed up dish top with lots of sauce and grated cheese on top Parmesan good but any cheese will help!. There are no specific quantities just add what you feel like easy to make and tastes good too even better after a day in fridge as the flavours meld!. so good luck and go to it as the sauce can be cooked in advance so that you only have the pasta to cook fresh and you can reheat it in the microwave!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yep, my most favourite and easy pasta recipe:

One onion (sliced), two colves of garlic (crushed / minced), one 400 g can diced tomatoes, 100 ml veg stock, 1 tsp dry red chilli flakes and 1 tsp olive oil

Boil paste (Penne or fusilli or the like), drain

Heat oil, add garlic, dry chilli flakes and onion, saute for 2 minutes, add the tomatoes, cook for another 5 mins, add veg stock and simmer for another 5 minutes until it becomes a thick sauce!. Switch off the heat, add pasta close with a lid, serve after 5 minutes!. You can add few olives and chopped parsley as garnish at the end!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sweet & Sour Pasta

1 pound rotini pasta (use any pasta)
4 carrots, shredded
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, diced
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 cup white sugar
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups mayonnaise
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil!. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain!.
In large bowl, combine pasta, carrot, green pepper and onion!. In medium bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, condensed milk, mayonnaise, salt and pepper!. Toss salad with dressing and chill 4 hours in refrigerator before serving!.

I made this it's very runny, and it's more of a 'sweet n sour' pasta, due to the amount of vinegar in it!.
It's still very good tasting though! I skipped the bell pepper because I don't care for it & didn't use as much onion as the recipe called for ~ The 2nd time I made it I didn't add as much vinegar- maybe half and it was very sticky - not runny but still really good!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cook linguine or spaghetti according to directions but ADD some frozen broccoli florets to water when you add the pasta!. ( maybe 3/4 cup per lb!. of pasta) In skillet add 3 Tbsp!. olive oil and 1 minced clove of garlic OR 1/4Th tsp!. powdered garlic, dash of crushed red pepper flakes, and 2 Tablespoons!. parsley (fresh or dried), dash of salt and pepper, fry lightly, do not brown garlic, add 1 lb!. of cooked, peeled and deveined medium size shrimp or 1 cup of cubed cooked chicken!. Heat til hot and serve over pasta & broccoli with parmesan cheese!.
This recipe is for 1lb!. of pasta!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are so many - boil linguini (or any pasta really) according to directions, then take olive oil (about 2-3 tbsp), some minced garlic (I use stuff from the jar), basil/oregano/various italian spices, and some drained diced tomatoes - no real measurements just how much you think you'd like - and heat it in a pan then toss in the cooked pasta!. It's light and fresh and delicious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
