Question: Is wheat bread good for you!? They put enriched flour in the ingredients is that good for you!?
Answers:
Whole wheat is the ingredient (usually listed first in the list of ingredients) to look for in breads, pasta, rice!.

Enriched flour is processed so some of the nutrients are taken out and the fiber is less to none!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Whole wheat is the best bread for you health-wise!.

Enriched bread may have the same amount of nutrients but whole wheat bread has the original fiber of the wheat!. For white bread its good to have it enriched!. Without enriched/fortified flour in bread, crackers, etc, a lot of people would be Vitamin B deficient!.

That's what happens when they process food, all the vitamins get lost so they put it back later!. So therefore, you might as well eat "whole" foods to begin with because it is the natural foods which are the healthiest for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sometimes enriched means they took a bunch of stuff out - and then put some vitamins and such in!. That's not so great!. Look for packages that say 100% whole grain bread!. Those are usually the healthiest!. Rule of thumb says that brown bread is better for you than white or lighter bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Whole wheat yes that white stuff no!.

During the milling process all the nutritional value is removed from the flour!. the enrichment is returning some of the removed components of the wheat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

WHEAT is the same as WHITE - most people assume 'wheat' is better than white - it is no better!.

WHOLE WHEAT is better for you than white or wheat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes wheat bread is so good!. i didn't think i would like it but its good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
