I am far to hot and only that they are fresh,i have to eat them or i wouldnt eat nothing,any fishcake recipes or nice meal ideas thanks xxxxWww@FoodAQ@Com

Try this easy recipe:

Serves/Makes: 4

Ingredients:

* 4 (3/4-inch thick) tuna steaks
* 1 cup Italian salad dressing
* Freshly-ground pepper to test
* 1 lemon, quartered

How to cook:

* Place tuna steaks in a 12 x 8-inch dish pour salad dressing over tuna!.
* Cover and refrigerate 1 hour, turning once!.
* Remove the tuna steaks from marinade reserve marinade!.
* Sprinkle pepper on both sides of tuna steaks!.
* Grill, covered, over medium coals (425 degrees F) for 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, basting occasionally with marinade!.
* Place the Barbecued Tuna Steaks on a serving plate squeeze a lemon wedge over each steak!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tuna Patties with Dill Sauce --


INGREDIENTS
2 parsnips, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch slices
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 (6 ounce) cans light water-packed albacore tuna, drained and flaked
2 teaspoons olive or canola oil

DILL SAUCE:
1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon dill weed


DIRECTIONS
Place parsnips in a saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil!. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30-35 minutes or until tender!. Drain well!. Place parsnips in a food processor or blender; cover and process until smooth!. In a bowl, combine 1 cup pureed parsnips, egg whites, bread crumbs, onions, parsley, lemon juice and peel, dill and pepper!. Add tuna and mix well!.
Shape into eight 1/2-in!.-thick patties (patties will be soft)!. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat!. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until lightly browned!. Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl; serve with tuna patties!.

Avocado, Tomato and Mango Salsa --


INGREDIENTS
1 mango - peeled, seeded and diced
1 avocado - peeled, pitted, and diced
4 medium tomatoes, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup chopped red onion
3 tablespoons olive oil


DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, combine the mango, avocado, tomatoes, jalapeno, cilantro, and garlic!. Stir in the salt, lime juice, red onion, and olive oil!. To blend the flavors, refrigerate for about 30 minutes before serving!.

Grilled Tropical Tuna Steaks --



INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup pineapple or other tropical fruit preserves
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon sesame oil
4 (6 ounce) tuna steaks, about 1 inch thick


DIRECTIONS
To prepare marinade, combine preserves, hoisin, lime juice, cilantro, ginger, and sesame oil in a small bowl!. Stir well!.
Pour into a resealable plastic bag or glass bowl; toss tuna with marinade to coat!. Refrigerate for 1 hour!.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate!.
Remove tuna steaks from marinade, shake off excess, and discard remaining marinade!. Cook on preheated grill for 4 to 5 minutes per side!. Be careful not to overcook - the tuna should be lightly browned on the outside but still slightly pink in the middle!. Serve immediately!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about BBQing them!? Marinade them for about an hour in lime juice and about 4 cloves of chopped garlic, then stick them on the BBQ and enjoy them with coleslaw and a fresh salad!. Potato salad goes really well with them too!.

If you can't be bothered with the BBQ, just shove them in a griddle or frying pan for 5 minutes each side after marinading - it's absolutely lovely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
