It even tastes better when cooked on fire wood!. Why is that!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Gas because it gets a lot hotter, or rather more direct heat!. This makes more Maillard, or caramalization, which adds a great depth of flavor!.

Wood because it has a slight smokey flavor that is impossible to get anywhere else!. Its a very dry heat which is just amazing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I never saw a difference!. I have used both, but personally prefer gas, only because if you lose power, you can still cook!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The speed of gas V electric, the faster any food is cooked the better it tastes, it retains flavour!.
My classic example would be Yorkshire puddings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have more control with a gas stove!. Electric seems to burn things more easily!.

You get smoky goodness when cooking with firewood!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think the smell of gas and wood taint the taste of food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
