Question: Why does cheese melt when you put it in the microwave and turn it on!?

the heat of it causes the internal temperature to rise!. with the new heat the molecules inside of the cheese speed up and spread out!. this causes a change in matter, in this case solid to liquid!.
also why would you put it in the microwave to not melt it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

umm, isnt the whole reason of putting cheese in a microwave is to melt it!? why else would you put it in there!? it doesnt make any senseWww@FoodAQ@Com

Try adding cheese after u warm the food in the micro, the food such as pizza will get heated later u put ur cheese!. hope it solves ur problem!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Heat melts cheese, and the microwave is hot!. If you don't want melted cheese, put the cheese on AFTER you microwave!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
