Hi, looked at your recipes and I was after some ideas for simple 20 minute meals!. Hate using microwave dinners but I am also on a small budget too so cheap and easy is quite a factor!

Ten Minute Dinner
1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup undiluted
1 can (15 ounces) mixed vegetables), drained
1 can (5 ounces) chow mein noodles

Brown beef and onion; add both soups, mixed vegetables and 3/4 can of
chow mein noodles!. Pour into cassrole dish!. Top with remaining chow
mein noodles!.
Bake at 400 degrees F!. for 10 min or until hot!.
Note: Any flavored soup and any flavored cream soup can be substituted
if so desired!. I like to bake this casserole for one hour to give the
soup flavors to bake into the meat!.




Garlic Pepper Skillet Chicken
Use your imagination to expand upon this super easy recipe!. Try sliced cooked chicken served over your favorite salad greens for a deliciously healthy dinner entrée, or chop cooked chicken to make chicken salad for your next summer gathering!.
Prep Time: 6 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Makes 4 servings!.



Ingredients:
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast halves, trimmed and lightly pounded
1/2 teaspoon garlic pepper seasoning using McCormick? Garlic Pepper Seasoning Grinder
1 tablespoon olive oil


Directions:
1!. Generously season both sides of chicken with garlic pepper seasoning!.
2!. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat!. Add chicken; cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until cooked through

3!. Season with additional garlic pepper seasoning just before serving, if desired!.









Five Ingredient Pasta and Ham Meal
!.
2 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
2 cups frozen broccoli florets
10-oz!. refrigerated container four cheese pasta sauce
2 cups cubed cooked ham
8 thin french bread slices

Heat water in pot and cook pasta according to package directions to al dente!. Add broccoli during last three minutes of cooking time!. Drain and leave in colander!.
Open pasta sauce and spread a small amount of the sauce (about 2 tsp!.) on each slice of french bread!. Spoon remaining pasta sauce into saucepan!. Add cooked and drained pasta, broccoli, and ham!. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally!. Toast bread in toaster oven until brown and bubbly!. Serve bread with pasta!. 4 servings





Sweet & Sour Pineapple Chicken

2 cups green pepper
2 cups celery, sliced diagonally
2 tablespoons oil
1 tin (14 ounces) unsweetened pineapple tidbits (drained)
2 cups drained pineapple juice with water added to make up
5 tablespoons cornstarch
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 cups left over chicken, cut in cubes
cooked rice (as required)
Saute vegetables in oil until tender crisp!. Remove from pan!. Combine
pineapple juice with water, cornstarch, brown sugar, vinegar and soy
sauce in saucepan!. Cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens!.
Add drained pineapple, vegetables and chicken!. Heat and serve with
rice!.
This easy chicken recipe serves 8-10!.





15-MINUTE FETTUCCINE ALFREDO

1 (8 oz!.) pkg!. cream cheese, cubed
3/4 c!. (3 oz!.) grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c!. butter
1/2 c!. milk
8 oz!. fettuccine, cooked, drained

In saucepan, stir together cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, butter and milk over low heat until smooth!. Add fettuccine, toss lightly!. 4 servings





QUICK 10 MINUTE MEAL

1 1/2 lb!. hamburger
1 can tomatoes
1 c!. minute rice, uncooked
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 pkg!. shredded Cheddar cheese
Chili powder
Onion
Salt

Brown hamburger and onions; drain!. Add all other ingredients, except cheese!. Simmer for 5 minutes!. Add cheese on top and melt!.





You could also save time by cooking meat ahead of time and even preparing it and placing in the frid!. Come home and pop it in the ovenWww@FoodAQ@Com

Pita Pizzas

pita bread
2 tbsp!. pasta sauce (spaghetti sauce)
spread around pita
put on bake sheet
pre-heat oven to 400F
top your pizza with grated cheese, sliced up cooked ham or salami or left over saucege
diced green pepper!.!.!.!.!.!.(whatever you want on your pizza)
bake for 8-10 min* till bottom is lightly golden*

why do u need only 20min to make yourself a meal!?!.!.here's a 'cheap' but healthy meal that you can freeze and have another day!.

CHILLI*

1 lb ground beef, cooked/drained and added back to pot
add 1 sml!. diced onion
salt / pepper
continue cooking/stirring
add one can of red kidney beans/rinsed/drained
add one large can of diced tomatoes
add 2-3 tbsp!. chilli powder
Stir to combine all ingredients*
put lid on, simmer on low for about 40min*

have a french loaf bread to go with meal*!.!.you can also make 5min white rice and have that with the chilli*!.!.very filling~

ground beef fried and drained, put back into pan
add 1 pkg!. taco seasoning
1 cup water- stir to combine
simmer till juices have absorbed~

warm taco shells in oven for a few minutes or serve on soft taco shell/pita

Cowboy Spaghetti

1 pound spaghetti
Salt
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, 1 turn of the pan
3 slices smoky bacon, chopped
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
3 to 4 cloves garlic, chopped
Ground black pepper
2 teaspoons hot sauce, eyeball it
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, eyeball it
1/2 cup beer
1 (14-ounce) can, chopped or crushed fire roasted tomatoes
1 (8-ounces) can, tomato sauce
8 ounces sharp Cheddar
4 scallions, chopped

Heat a pot of water to a boil!. Add spaghetti and salt the water!. Cook to al dente or with a bite to it!.

Heat a deep skillet over medium-high heat!. Add extra-virgin olive oil and bacon!. Brown and crisp bacon, 5 minutes, remove with a slotted spoon!. Drain off a little excess fat if necessary!. Leave just enough to coat the bottom of the skillet!. Add beef and crumble it as it browns, 3 to 4 minutes!. Add onions, garlic and stir into meat!. Season the meat with salt and pepper, hot sauce and Worcestershire!. Add 1/2 cup beer and deglaze the pan!. Cook 5 to 6 minutes more then stir in tomatoes and tomato sauce!.

Add hot spaghetti to meat and sauce and combine!. Adjust seasonings and serve up pasta in shallow bowls!. Grate some cheese over the pasta and sprinkle with scallions!. Garnish with crisp bacon!. Done in 20 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chili Beef 'n Pasta
this recipe serves 4
8 oz( 2 1/2 C) uncooked rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can(11!.5 oz) condensed fiesta chili beef with beans soup (like Campbell's)
1 Jar (8 OZ) salsa
1/2 cup water
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1!. cook pasta as directed
2!. in skillet cook beef and onion over medium high heat, stirring occasionally until beef is brown!. Reduce heat to medium, stir soup, salsa and water into beef!. Cook until thoroughly heated!.
3!. Serve beef mixture over pasta!. Sprinkle with cheese!.

With the leftover beef mixture have a taco salad the next day just add tortilla chips, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheeseWww@FoodAQ@Com

Get boneless skinless chicken breast slice in thin stripes or small chunks saute in a frying pan , add some onion , peppers and add Italian spices (also a little hot sauce) !. Then cook some rice in a pan (drain well and add to the chicken mixture!.)

I think you can do this in 20 minutes-

Cook boneless skinless chicken breasts in a skillet with a little oil about 4 minutes per side on medium heat!. Add one chopped onion, cook briefly and add 1 cup of chicken broth!. Cook about 3 minutes then add one jar of spaghetti sauce!. Turn heat to low, cover and let simmer until chicken is done, approximately 20 minutes!. Meanwhile, cook some spaghetti following directions on the box!. Drain the pasta and serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ramen noodles are a great filler to start with, add all kinds of things i add broccoli and ham steak pieces!. also steak and salsa and shredded cheese when serving!. Hot dogs, I have even added left over pizza topping cheese and all when cold it just peels of dough!. I Put hot wings(take meat off bone) added some ranchdressing!. Be creative think outside the box, look whats cheap to buy and add to it!. Mac and cheese you can add tuna and peas with cream of mushroom!.

TACO SALAD

Brown the meat, use the mix or create you own with chili powder, onion powder, salt, flour and a lot of Cumin!.

Chop of some lettuce, shredded cheese, can of rinsed black beans, can of corn and top with salsa and add some tostada chips on the side!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grilled Cheese with Tomato, Peppers and Basil

INGREDIENTS:
8 (1 ounce) slices bread
4 slices Cheddar cheese
1 large tomato, sliced
2 serrano peppers, seeded and thinly sliced
2 teaspoons dried basil
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Butter one side of each slice of bread, and place 4 of the slices butter-side down on a griddle over medium heat!.
2!. On each piece of bread, place one slice of cheese, 1 slice of tomato, and a few slices of serrano pepper!. Sprinkle dried basil and salt and pepper to taste!. Top each sandwich with a slice of buttered bread, butter-side up!.
3!. Grill sandwiches until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes each side!.

Asian Beef with Snow Peas

INGREDIENTS:
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 tablespoon minced fresh
ginger root
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 pound beef round steak, cut
into thin strips
8 ounces snow peas

DIRECTIONS:
1!. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice wine, brown sugar and cornstarch!. Set aside!.
2!. Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium high heat!. Stir-fry ginger and garlic for 30 seconds!. Add the steak and stir-fry for 2 minutes or until evenly browned!. Add the snow peas and stir-fry for an additional 3 minutes!. Add the soy sauce mixture, bring to a boil, stirring constantly!. Lower heat and simmer until the sauce is thick and smooth!. Serve immediately!.

Summer Pasta

INGREDIENTS:
1 (16 ounce) package linguini
pasta
6 roma (plum) tomatoes,
chopped
1 pound shredded mozzarella
cheese 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
ground black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
1!. Combine tomatoes, cheese, basil, garlic, olive oil, garlic salt, and black pepper in medium bowl!. Set aside!.
2!. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions!.
3!. Drain pasta, and transfer to a serving bowl!. Toss with tomato mixture!. Serve!.


Quick Eggplant Parmesan

INGREDIENTS:
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1 small eggplant, cut into 3/4
inch thick slices
1 cup dried bread crumbs,
seasoned
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup spaghetti sauce
1/4 teaspoon crushed red
pepper flakes
3 tablespoons grated
Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS:
1!. In a small bowl beat the egg and water together!. Place the bread crumbs in shallow dish!. Dip eggplant slices in egg mixture then in crumbs, being sure to coat thoroughly!.
2!. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot!. Add eggplant slices and reduce heat to medium!. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until golden brown and tender!. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over eggplant during last minute of cooking to melt!.
3!. While eggplant is cooking, combine spaghetti sauce and pepper flakes in a microwave-safe measuring cup!. Cover with plastic wrap and cook at high power for 2 minutes or until heated through!.
4!. Top eggplant with sauce and Parmesan cheese and serve!.
