Answers:
don't put any oil in the water you cook the pasta in, or it won't absorb the sauce!. Classic style you'd put chopped olives, pimento, grated carrots, chopped celery, chopped onions and some mayonnaise, about 2 tsp mustard and a tblspoon of ketchup!. But you can't go wrong with anything, try italian salad dressing, olives, artichoke hearts and red pepper or frozen pesto, green peas and julienned zuchinni and carrots!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My friend gave me her delicious, easy and inexpensive recipe:

Cook your noodles al dente!. Add one small jar of sweet pickle relish!. Add one can of whole black olives, drained!. Add 6 hard boiled eggs that you have cut into chunks!. Dress with mayonnaise, and begin with about a half cup, mixing and add only a tablespoon at a time so it is not dry!. It depends on how much noodles you cook!. I boil off about a medium size bag, and add about a half cup!. Salt and pepper to taste!. That is it!

Macaroni salad is not the same as pasta salad!. If you want to throw stuff in to make a pasta salad, I put in salami, dried tomatoes or Roma tomato chunks, green onions, capers, olives, and dress it with Italian dressing or oil and vinegar dressing!. Of course salt and pepper to taste!. You could also put in broccoli florette's, cauliflower, cucumber chunks!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
