The less processed the better for you for health!. Brown, wild (though not really a rice per se, it is a swamp gress seed) and basmati are good!.

No rice in amounts more than 1/2 a cup for a serving are good for you!. They contain a lot of sugars and will make you fat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

brown rice has more fiber but no rice is bad for you as long as you realize its still straight starch!. Spanish rice is merely white rice prepared differently, with the addition of chicken stock and veggies in place of plain water!. If you want a healthier version use brown rice, veggie stock, watch your ingredients, eat in moderation and enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, white rice is not better for you!. Brown rice is very good for you and simple to make!. They even have boil in a bag brown rice!.

If you buy just a bg of rice!.!.which is generally the cheapest, it is alos simple to make!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you like white rice, which is higher in glycemic index and not as healthy as brown rice, add beans to it or use tea as your liquid instead of water!. Make the tea, cool it before you use it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Brown rice has more fiber, so it is healthier!. It's a bit chewier, though!.
