1 large onion, peeled and quartered
1/4c Water
1 1/2c Ketchup
1 1/2c Apple Cider
4 tbl!. Apple Cider Vinegar
3 tbl!. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 c!. Molasses
3 tbl!. Dijon Mustard
1 Chipotle Chili, minced + 1tbl!. Adobo Sauce
1/2 tsp!. Fresh Ground Black Pepper
2 strips Bacon, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tbl!. chili powder

Directions
Process onion and water in food processor until slushy, about 45 seconds!.
Pass the onion slush through a fine mesh strainer over a large mixing bowl, pressing on the slush with a large rubber spatula!. Discard the onion solids!.
Whisk ketchup, apple cider, 3tbl!. apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, Dijon mustard, chipotle chili, adobo sauce, and black pepper into onion liquid!.
In a large saucepan, cook bacon over medium-high heat, until bacon is crisp!.
Remove bacon with a slotted spoon!.
Add garlic and chilli powder to hot bacon fat and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds!.
Add onion-ketchup mixture to the saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes!.
Off heat, add remaining 1 tbl!. apple cider vinegar!.
(Optional) Pulse cooked bacon in food processor until it is a fine powder and add to sauceWww@FoodAQ@Com

I stand there in the grocery store and read the labels!. If the first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup, I put it back on the shelf!. If I like the list of ingredients, I buy it!. I am hardly ever disapointed, except with the expensive price tag!. But it's well worth the money!. When I get it home, I fry some diced onion in butter, add the sauce, ketchup and brown sugar, heat until all bubbly, and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My ex-boyfriend and I used several kinds of bbq sauces in a bowl and add catchup, vinegar, liquid smoke and a little sugar, good for basting and dipping!. We did this sometimes to keep from running out to the store, utilizing what we already had, but then got to the point that we;d just pick up
