Answers:
If that's all you have, give it a try!. Try it out on a smaller amount of mix so you don't waste a whole batch if they turn out nasty!.

You could also try cocoa or even hot chocolate mix!. It would probably accomplish the same thing as the chocolate milk powder!. If you have a chocolate bar, break it up into tiny pieces!. That would be like chocolate chips!.

Adding Chocolate milk powder to pancake batter will only result in the batter turning chocolate color , and if you add enough to the batter, i guess you will get a chocolate pancake batter!. I guess if you added the chocolate chips melted, semisweet than chocolate milk mix , you can do away with some sugar thats to be added to the batter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you have a chocolate bar you can chop up!?
If you add cocoa to the batter rather than chocolate milk powder you will have a better flavor chocolate!.
By the way mix the cocoa into the dry pancake mix first as cocoa does not dissolve well in liquids!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Powder will give you flavor & color!.!.!.!.!.!.chips will give you crunch and not much color!.

If you just want chocolate pancakes add powder!.!.!.!.!.forget about chips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not really because it's specifically designed to work as a drink mix!. You need to use plain old cocoa and/or chocolate chips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What you'll get is a sorta chocolate pancake!. YOu need chips to make it chocolate chip!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
