Meals for at the beach?!


Question: Meals for at the beach!?
My husband and I are going to the beach and I need ideas for meals!. We are very simple people - we'll be taking eggs, cereal, hot dogs and spaghetti!.!.!. I'd just like something that is lite that tastes good on a beach vacation! (Need ideas for snacks and desserts too)!. Need things that are easy and quick!Www@FoodAQ@Com

~ Chicken on the grill
~ Take a crock pot and use it to make a brisket or roast!. This will free you up during the day, and give you leftover meat for sandwiches!. Heat up some baked beans, and make a simple slaw!.
~ Make meatballs, add sauce of your choice, and cook those up in the crock pot, too!. Use rolls and make your own sub sandwiches!.
~ Make salads as a meal in them self, or to go along with other entrees!.
~ Quesadillas ~ tortillas with cheese, and maybe a little shredded chicken!. You can make them in a dry skillet if there's not a microwave!. I've also listed a link below to a shrimp quesadilla recipe!.
~ Yogurt topped with some cereal is a good, easy snack!.
~ Fruit of all sorts!. Cut up different ones and layer in a bowl for dessert!.

Are you going on a picnic or do you have a beach house for like a week!?

If you have a grill, burgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, pasta salad, baked potatoes and corn on the cob!. Potato salad, macaroni salad, baked beans!. Fresh garden salad!. Omelet with lots of veggies for any meal!.

You could make some dip with bread or crackers, salsa with chips or popcorn!.

my dad and my mom used to do the same thing they spent the whole day on the beach after retirement, Soo What they packed was this 4 sandwhiches , peanut butter and jelly, and sometimes he would pack Ham salad sanwhiches, and individually wrapped crackers like Lance crackers , cheese and onion or peanut butter crackers, and well, if you have kids dont do this , they had there jug of wine, but hey , they used to pack cans of root beer for the kids and they were setWww@FoodAQ@Com

crackers are a wonderful snack for any occasion especially when your on the go!. and dessert on the beach lemme think!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. maybe fruits dipped in nice warm chocolate and some whipped cream on the side!. and i wouldn't bring spagehtti if you are eating on the sand cause the sand can easily get into the spaghetti so other than that GREAT thinkingWww@FoodAQ@Com

Thai chicken Satay with peanut sauce and grilled lemon herb/butter shrimp!.

Make these both on skewers!. This is a great way to involve your special someone, as they can grill their own and you can share the moment!.

Bring a nice bottle of white wine, a cold Asian noodle salad and a light dessert too such as cut watermelon with toothpicks-Feed each other!.!.!.!.!.need I say more!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like to grill some chicken and pork ahead of time!.We can use these for a quick dinner or slice them and lay them in wraps for lunch!. We take lots of fruit for snax and snack packs for the beach!. We tend to eat more at the shore so we really try to keep the junk food at a minimumWww@FoodAQ@Com

Anything grilled if you are taking a grill!. Fruit salad, Veggie salad marinated is wonderful!. Mix in a littlle cooked pasta and some herbs!.
