Pls,quick, how long do you boil corn on the cob?!
Answers:
Put a small amount of water to boil (does NOT have to cover the corn)!. Once its boiling, put in corn and cover tightly for only about 3 minutes (keeping it at a boil)!.
Don't over cook!

I disagree with everyone that has answered so far!.
First, you MUST cover the corn or all the kernals won't get cooked!. You would be basically steaming it--which is fine, if that's what you want!.
After many years of cooking, and loving, loving, loving cooked corn, bring your water to a boil, add corn, cover pot and let boil for no more than 3 minutes!. Closest to fresh as you can get!
If you cook it longer--like the 15-20 minutes suggested, THAT is when you get tough corn!.
Trust me on this :>)Www@FoodAQ@Com
