Answers:
Your probably thinking of the instant freeze soda experiment!. Soda is made with carbon dioxide, which lowers the freezing point of any liquid!. So what you do is get a couple bottles of soda or seltzer water, put them in a bucket of ice water/salt(rock salt) mixture for a couple of hours!. This will let them cool off to about the temperature of freezing water!. Keep a thermometer in the water, and watch for the right temperature (about 17 degrees F, -8 degrees celcius) once it hits that temp!. let it sit in the ice water for another 10 minutes or so, any more and the water in the bottle will freeze prematurely!. When the alotted 10 minutes is up, gently remove the seltzer/soda, and pop open the top!. When you do so the carbon dioxide will mostly escape, making the freezing point higher, instantly freezing the contents of the bottle!. If you put soda or seltzer water in the freezer and take it out later to drink it, it is possible for it to instantly freeze!. The way I say it is a controlled experiment though, and will always make the same result!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's no way to freeze it instantly without something really, really cold like liquid nitrogen!. Cold is just the absence of heat, so you need to bleed out the heat, and that takes time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
