I make homemade pudding, it's so easy and so much better than instant!!!!!!! But use the boxed if you desire just get the cooking kind not instant!
4 cups 2% milk or your choice of whole, skim etc!
1/2 cup of splenda (you can use all sugar or all splenda instead mixing it!. It equals to 3/4 cup total)
1/4 cup white sugar
6 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoon butter
bag of nilla wafers(Keeblers is best)
5 to 7 bananas sliced (wiat to slice them or they will turn brown)
In medium saucepan over medium heat, heat milk until bubbles form at edges!. In a bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt!. Pour into hot milk, a little at a time, stirring to dissolve!. Continue to cook and stir until mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon!. Do not boil!. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and butter!.
Now that you have the pudding made, line a glass bowl with vanilla wafers, pour some pudding in, then layer sliced bananas about 5 on top, the more pudding then more bananas on so on, then tip with more vanilla wafers, Cover with plastic wrap put in frig to cool!. some like it warm, but I think it's better the nest day!!!
