Another baking problem?!

Question: Another baking problem!?
Recently I tried this recipe :

Simple Chocolate Cake

3 (2-ounce) NESTLé? TOLL HOUSE? Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Bars, melted and cooled
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk

# Preheat oven to 350° F!. Grease two 9-inch-round baking pans or one 13 x 9-inch baking pan!.
# For Cake: Beat sugar, butter and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl!. Add eggs; beat for 1 minute!. Beat in melted chocolate!. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; beat into creamed mixture alternately with milk!.
# Pour into prepared baking pan(s)!. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean!. Cool for 20 minutes; invert onto wire rack(s) to cool completely!.

The only thing is I baked it using a microwave!.
The cake came out okay, but after a while it hardened -- became like biscuit hard!.
Is it because I'm using a microwave!? Help!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Keeping in the microwave for too long or if the mositure content is less can give a similar result!. Try this never fail recipe from my blog and you will have a nice spongy chocolate cake that is done in the microwave in 7 mins!.

Yes, it's because you're using a microwave!.

If you don't have a regular oven, you could try baking in a toaster oven or a combination toaster/convection oven!. You'll be limited by the size of the pans that fit in it, and you'll have to watch it carefully in case the baking time needs to be adjusted, but it might work!. One nice thing about the toaster oven is you can use it in the garage or outside on your patio and it won't heat up your house the way using the regular oven does!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Microwaves cook from the inside out, so it is a completely different principle than a convention oven!.
If baking a cake is even possible in a microwave, I would imagine the cooking instructions would be completely different!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes this type of cake needs to be baked in an oven!. Some cakes can be baked in a steamer made out of a big pot, maybe that would be better!.
