I cook fish inside all the time!. The easiest way is to sprinkle some olive oil on them & coat them with a little flour!. You can add creole season or other spices to the flour also!. Then put them in the skillet with a little vegetable oil!. I serve them with brown rice & green beans or pasta!.
Sometimes I will just season them with some olive oil & basil & put them in the pan with some oil & butter then squeeze some lemon on them while they're cooking!. Serve with some fresh lemon wedges & capers on top!.
You can bake it also!. Coat a baking dish with non stick spray & then put in the fillets with some thinly sliced tomatoes & onion on top & squeeze fresh lemon all over, some parsley, add salt & pepper & even fresh garlic or garlic powder if you like!. You can even add a little jack cheese on top & some parmesan to give it a nice crust while baking!.
I used to cook Tilapia all the time on my George Forman grill!. I just used a blackened spice & threw them on there!. They were great!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you don't have a grill (do you mean BBQ or broiler!?), easiest is pan-frying it!. The following assumes you have either a fillet or a steak, or a small whole fish like trout!. Pan-frying would not be the best thing for a whole 25-pound salmon!.
1!. Rinse the fish!. Give it a light rub all over with olive (or vegetable) oil!.
2!. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper!.
3!. Dust it with flour!. (Alternately you can mix flour salt and pepper to dredge the fish in all at once!.)
4!. Fry it in a hot (but not smoking) pan with a tablespoon or two of oil!.
Fish cooks very quickly, so don't walk off!. Depending on how thick, it will only take 3-5 minutes each side for a one-inch thick steak or filet!. Less if it's thinner!.
Serve with a lemon wedge to drizzle over and you're good to go!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here is a super easy and tasty way to make your fish!.!. It keeps the flavor!. Tear off a piece of aluminum foil, much larger than your fish!. place your fish on the foil, put a couple dabs of butter on top of it, then bring ends/edges of foil up and fold over (like you were folding a bag top)!. This way the juices are sealed in and won't spill out!. Place the package in a preheated 400 degree oven and bake for 15 minutes!. Even works in a toaster oven this way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
