Is there a baking substitute for self-rising flower?!


Question: Is there a baking substitute for self-rising flower!?
I need 1/4 cup of self-rising flower but I don't have any and I need it right now so is there some sort of substitute you can use!? I heard there is something you can do with baking powder and salt but I don't know how much!. Thanks in advance!Www@FoodAQ@Com

For every cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 tsp!. salt and blend thoroughly to make your own self rising flour!.

I would recommend making a whole cup of it and then using what you need!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

With that small amount you can probably use regular flour!.
Self rising flour is regular flour that has had baking soda and salt added to it!.
If you have to add a bit of baking soda or salt to the 1/4 cup it would be such a scant amount that you probably won't even be able to measure out that small of an amount of the soda or salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
