Baking soda for Baking powder?!


Question: Baking soda for Baking powder!?
Im making pancakes and it says for 1 tbsp of baking powder but I can't find any DX
But I did find baking Soda!. Will that work instead!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah it will be okay, but don't use a whole tbsp!. The egg you added will help it be light and fluffy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have cream of tartar, you can make baking powder out of baking soda and cream of tartar!.

It's 2 parts cream of tartar for 1 part baking sodaWww@FoodAQ@Com

Just be sure you use buttermilk, not milk, and you can probably get away w/ it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
