Can someone cut this recipe in half for me?!
3 egg whites (room temperature)
4 cups confectioners sugar (approx!. 1 lb!.)
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
Beat all ingredients at high speed for 7 to 10 minutes!. Use immediately!. Rebeating will not restore texture!.
Yield: 2 1/2 cups
*For use only as non-edible decorations which will not come in direct contact with the cake!. Wash hands and utensils thoroughly after making recipe!.

The recipe should work just fine!. Egg whites are not exact in size so there is no need to use 1 1/2!. If the icing is not stiff enough increase the sugar by a small amount!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

As long as the proportions are kept the same, it'll work!.
1 1/2 egg whites, 2 cups of sugar, & 1/4 tsp cream of tartar!.

everything can be cut in half instead of trying to get 1 1/2 egg whites use 2 & if you are concerned about it being too much!. us to grade AA small eggs in stead of grade AA large (which is what most people use) & it should come out okWww@FoodAQ@Com

It will work, you'll just have a smaller portion than the original!. Just divide all the measurements by two and it'll be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
