How do You get chocolate chip cookies flat?!
how do i get the chocloate chip cookies i make like this:

i use the regular way to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch!.
I want them to be flat!. Instead of puffy!?

To make your cookies more flat!.!.!. since you do make them from scratch I know you use baking soda!. Drop the salt in your recipe if use it and use only half of the baking soda your recipe calls for!. also the flatter you make the batter in your hand before you put it on the baking sheet the flatter your cookie will be!.

Use butter not shortening
Use more brown sugar than white sugar!.

after you chill the dough, or dont chill the dough if you want them really flat,!.!.!.!.!.press the dough down with your fingers to flatten the mound, or with a drinking glass!. then bake as you normally wouldWww@FoodAQ@Com
When you put them on the cookie sheet, just mash them flat & fairly thin & re-shape them round with the outside of your hand!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
