No it isn't safe!. Been there done that got real sick!. This happened even though we keep our house at about 65 degrees all the time thought it would be safe but wasn't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it was thoroughly cooked (well done) AND if it was left out in a sealed container AND if it was left out for less than 12 hours AND if the temp in that room of the house was less than 80F AND if you FREEZE it, it would probably be safe to eat, esp if you added any spices to it when it was cooked!. I would nuke it (microwave it) for a few minutes just to be extra sure, but it should be ok if ALL of the above conditions were met by you!.

Your mom was probably more concerned with uncooked foods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well ask yourself two questions
1!. how much did the beef cost you!?
2!. is that amount of money the the beef cost you worth 2 days of diarhea and throwing up and gut wretching pain in your tummy!?
in my opinion, not worth it!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It won't "go bad" as in "rot," but it will be the host to many bacteria, some of which could make anybody who ate it sick as a dog!.

Discard it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My friend is a researcher and he says that is basically what they do to promote the growth of bacteria!.

Toss it now or toss it later, your choice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If its cooked, yes, it's better not to eat it!.
If it was winter, maybe , but since it's summer, just throw it!.

in general cooked meat will last much longer at room temperature than raw meat!. that's one reason why meat was smoked or jerked in the old days before refrigeration!. I'd say you're good to goWww@FoodAQ@Com

No, it's probably not safe now!. I know it's a waste, but for the sake of not getting food-poisoning, I'd throw it away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't risk it!. Toss it out and buy fresh meat and start over!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no i would not eat it after it set out all night!.!.!.!.a few bucks down the drain is much better than risking food poison!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Toss it!. I wouldn't eat it if it's been left!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes!. pitch it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
