When using a whole chicken, then recipe is the best ever!

http://www!.foodnetwork!.com/recipes/anne-!.!.!.

When using chicken breast, thighs, etc I use this rub!. Be sure to bake on a rack over a foil lined pan!.

1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
2/3 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
2 tablespoons kosher salt OR 1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons ground ginger
4 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
4 1/2 teaspoons onion salt
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper (cayenne)
1 1/2 teaspoons ground red pepper (cayenne)
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
3/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed

The rub is great on pork and chicken!. Store it in an air tight container in the pantry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

get the chicken from the freezer, shove it in the oven for about 10 minutes while i make a sauce consisted of normal baked chicken spices (whatever those could be) and tears, then i'd take it out and cut it evenly with a chainsaw then dunk the pieces in the sauce!. and who needs plates and utensils when you could eat off the table with your hands!?

Buy the chicken!. Unwrap the chicken!. Put it into a baking dish!. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees!. Put the baking dish into the oven!. Leave for 45 minutes (cut pieces, small) to 2 hours (whole chicken)!. Take out and serve!.
Okay, that seems very simplistic, but it's actually the BEST WAY to bake chicken!. Generally, if it is cut up chicken, put the 'skin' up or if it's boneless and skinless, but the meatiest part up!. If it's a whole chicken, turn it over so the breasts are DOWN and the 'back' is up !.!.!. that way the breasts stay moist and taste better!. You can put any kind of 'rub' you like on !.!.!. my husband and I LOVE using 'Blackened Redfish Rub' when we bake chicken!. The one thing to remember is to NEVER add salt to any baked chicken !.!.!. the salt will dry the meat out and take the 'good chicken flavor' away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
