Indian Cooking Recipe : Tomato-mint Soup

Ingredients :
3 large boiled tomatoes
1 tbsp butter
? tsp a little chopped green chilly
1 & ? tsp sugar
2 tsp spring onion and carrot, chopped
? tsp ginger paste
1 tsp corn flour
5-6 finely chopped mint [pudina] leaves
Salt to taste


Peel off the skin of the tomatoes!.
In a mixes add tomatoes and chilly and make a fine paste!.
In a kadai /pan add 1 tbsp Butter!.
To this add the tomato paste!.
Boil till red color is obtained!.
Then add sugar, mint leaves, chopped spring onions, carrot and ginger paste!.
Then add corn flour paste!. Add salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This one is DELICIOUS:

Mulligatawny Soup

1/2 cup chopped onion
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 carrot, diced
1/4 cup butter
1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
4 cups chicken broth
1/2 apple, cored and chopped
1/4 cup white rice
1 skinless, boneless chicken breast half - cut into cubes
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1 pinch dried thyme
1/2 cup heavy cream, heated

Saute onions, celery, carrot, and butter in a large soup pot!. Add flour and curry, and cook 5 more minutes!. Add chicken stock, mix well, and bring to a boil!. Simmer about 1/2 hour!.
Add apple, rice, chicken, salt, pepper, and thyme!. Simmer 15-20 minutes, or until rice is done!.
When serving, add hot cream!.

Serves 6!.

Saute one large diced onion, 2 large diced carrots and 4 stalks diced celery and 1 diced hot pepper in butter or oil until soft!. Add 1 tbsp curry powder and cook for a few minutes!. Add 8 cups chicken broth and 1 cup red lentils and bring to a boil!. Simmer about one hour until the vegetable are very soft!. Add one can coconut milk!. Puree!.
